Simple Game Reviews is dedicated to reviewing simple casual and independent video games. This website is for those of us who prefer the simple video games focused on fun and gameplay over the latest big production.
Who are you?
My name is Sylvain, I live in France, I’m 26 and have been enjoying various kinds of video games since the age of 4, when my family got its first computer (an Atari ST). I am both a “hardcore” video game player, meaning that I have fun playing some of the big video game productions, and at the same time a “casual” gamer who enjoys well-made simple games. Of course this website is all about the casual gamer in me.
What games are reviewed here?
I’m open to all kinds of games in different genres (puzzle, action, arcade, platform…), as long as the games are unique in their own rights. I enjoy reviewing new games as well as old favorites of mine.
Can I submit a game for review?
If you are a developer looking for an additional way to promote your game, feel free to submit it for review by dropping me an e-mail. If you are a fan of a great game that has not been reviewed here yet, you may want to contact me as well.
How is this website supported?
This website is supported through the various ads displayed on each page, as well as through the sales of some of the games reviewed here thanks to different affiliate programs. So if you want me to spend more time improving the website and reviewing more games, the best way is simply to buy your favorite games discovered here.

How is this website made?
This website is made using Wordpress, a solid and widely used weblog tool. The visual theme is based on the 1andOnly theme made by Daniel Brady. The review star graphics are from the unobstrusive AJAX star rating bar. And I use the Notepad++ text editor to manually edit the code behind the site for custom enhancements.
